No longer a premed

Surprise.
It's finally official- I will no longer be a "premed". This is what happened in the last year:

Interviewed: U of T, Queen's, Western

Waitlisted: one of the above
Rejected: one of the above
Accepted: one of the above (after initial waitlist)

I will post something more coherent when I've settled down a bit.

Matt

Just stumbled on this blog on my phone. I currently have all of your "destroy the MCAT" posts up (except for #2: Writing Sample). I'm set to take the MCAT in Sept. and need all the help I can get (been out of school for YEARS!)

Thanks for your contribution to my Journey and I'm sooo glad that you finally reached your goal.
@Drdepozzi is my twitter handle.

Congrats Matt! Just wanted to say thanks a ton for your blog. I applied to PT this last cycle and found your MMI compilation to be super useful. I owe my success on my MMI to it! Thank you :)

I just found your blog today, through a dentistry thread actually, but congratulations!!! That must be really exciting. Thanks for your blog - I am also an "average" Korean premed who's struggling to get into medical school because I can't seem to jump the interview hurdle, so I will definitely be referring to your blog as I prepare for the next cycle.

Hi Mat, I see that you got an interview at Queens.
Could you please please please please inform us as to the extracuriculars, volunteering and work experience/ and research you did during your undergrad.

I read that queens places a heavy emphasis on ec/volunteering.

Please help a brother out.
It would be SOOOO AMAZING and I will be very thankful

I don't know you at all lol I'm just a grade 12 students but I'm very happy for you! You went through all these rejections and I know many people would give up and quit but you didn't and I like to say that your experiences have inspired me! Thank you!
